At this time of Christmas, like the Magi and the Shepherds we desire an encounter with Jesus Christ, who is the ‘Face of the Father’s Mercy’ as Pope Francis has reminded us. As we reflect upon and celebrate the birth of the Lord during this Year of Mercy, let us seek to be forever changed by the love and mercy that the Father offers to us in the child born at Bethlehem, and then share His love and mercy with others. I hope and pray that this Christmas is a season of grace and peace for you. Be assured of my prayers for you and your family members during these holy days and throughout the coming New Year.
Thank you for your faith and for your service to the Church! Merry Christmas!
